Subscription, Cancellation & Refunds

How the trial works

When you start the trial, Stripe securely stores a payment method but takes no payment. You get full access straight away through your personal access code. The trial lasts 3 days.

If you do nothing, the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and £2.99 is charged for the first month. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged and access stops at the end of the trial period.

How billing works

How to cancel

Cancelling takes about thirty seconds:

In the same portal you can update your card or download invoices. If you cannot reach the portal, email hello@theunlockedlondon.com and we will cancel it for you.

After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

Your right to cancel (consumer withdrawal right)

As a consumer in the UK or the EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because Unlocked London gives you immediate access to digital content, you are asked to agree that the service starts straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once access has begun.

In practice the 3-day free trial is designed to let you evaluate the guide without paying anything, and you can cancel at any point during it.

Refunds

To request a refund, email hello@theunlockedlondon.com with the email address used at checkout. We answer refund requests within 5 working days.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries over a few days and emails you. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and access ends. You can resubscribe at any time.

What happens to your saved places

Your hearts and visited markers are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. They remain on that device after cancelling, but they are lost if you clear your browser data or change device.
